Bio
I am currently finishing up a Master of Science degree at the University of British Columbia where I am studying the salt application on the Horstman Glacier, Whistler, BC. This is the first study of its kind in the world and I hope to use the skills from it to allow me to continue to work in the snow science realm. My other passion is photography, namely mountain biking and skiing imagery. Winters are spent in the backcountry around BC and the rest of the time I’m at home in Roberts Creek with the best mountain bike trails in the world. Through in a few tablespoons of surfing, a dash of traveling, a wonderful wife and that sums up my current life. Editorial images of mine have appeared in Powder, Backcountry, Ski Canada, Mountain Life, Ski Press, New Zealand Skier, and SBC Surf. Stay tuned to upcoming issues of Bike, DirtRag, and every major ski publication in North America for more images this coming season.
The services of Nicolas Teichrob Photography can be made available for specific editorial or commercial needs. He works with some of the best and upcoming professional mountain bike and skiing athletes capturing great images throughout the Coast Mountains of British Columbia.
