Bio:
I grew up in Costa Rica but am currently living in Kona, Hawaii. I spend my days in, on or near the ocean. Whether I’m surfing, standup paddling or swimming, I love being in the water. I began standup paddling 3 years ago and it’s been amazing to see the sport grow so rapidly.  I am excited to see where it will continue to go. Over the past year my interest in racing has grown and I’ve come to love it. There is no better feeling then coming across the finish line and knowing that all the hard work and training has paid off. Being as competitive as I am drives me to train hard so that I can be the best I can be. As I continue paddling I learn new things about the sport as well as about myself. It’s been an exciting adventure so far and I’m looking forward to the rest of the journey….
