Day 2 of the Salt Lake Shootout
Posted to Blog by nicteichrob on Feb.24, 2010
Today was a bit of a weak day. It started snowing in the morning and was grey all day. I was at Snowbird and the mountain was totally schralped. I was shooting with Carston Oliver and Parker Cook and both guys still killed it and were keen despite the less than ideal conditions. Today was a classic day for this type of photo competition, where there would be absolutely no way I would ever be shooting on a day like this unless it was during such a comp. We got maybe a couple of keeper action shots and some good lifestyles, but not really anything extra to put up on the blog yet. It is dumping on the mountains still and hopefully tomorrow will be deep and the hills ready for senders. I’ll be shooting with Jesse Hall and Josh Van Jura at Solitude and hope Jesse will be keen on some airs that he is so known for.
