I was lucky enough to spend my Holidays in Arizona this year, and on January 3rd I took a day trip to see the famed Red Rocks of Sedona, AZ. On recommendation from my father I took the back route (89A) through Jerome, and stumbled across the most amazing piece of road I have ever seen. I was driving a Porsche Boxter S, and going as fast as possible I could rarely get out of second gear, which is about 135km/hr in that car. Fortunately the traffic was sparse and I had the road mostly to myself. I got my girlfriend to film, and she managed to hold off of screaming long enough to get some good footage. I eventually ended up getting the car loose coming out of a hairpin with a few thousand foot cliff on my right and decided to back off a little.
